About North London Stars

North London Stars (previously ADC Stars) is a growing independent performing arts school, running dance and theatre classes after school for ages 2-16 in Finchley. Our classes aim to foster creativity, teamwork and communication skills in our students alongside development of gross motor skills for our younger students and vocational technique as students progress. In our dance and theatre practice, we value a collective learning environment where excellence is achieved through fun, openness and exploration. All our stars are with us both to grow as performers and to develop valuable life skills. Focus, confidence and curiosity are nurtured through dance and theatre practice, with plenty of giggles along the way. . . We believe we have struck that magical formula of learning and fun which allows our students to flourish. 

Set up in 2008 by Miss Ami, the gauntlet was passed to Miss Lizzie in 2018 who has run the school for 4 years. Students benefit from numerous performance opportunities including a winter cabaret and summer production, as well as optional examinations, festival appearances, holiday camps and 1to1 tutoring.
